Days last 48 hours, public schools close for the harvest, and Ma sits out on the front porch all day long, stringin' green beans and caulkin' a broom stick. This is the place of yesteryear. A place where parking is free and old men still walk five miles up hill both ways. The music is country and the people are too. This, my friends, is Carrollton."
